We're very excited about the release of Google Earth for Web. However, for those with the pioneering spirit, there are a few caveats at this early stage:  Google Earth for Web currently requires the use of the Chrome browser. Plans to expand to other browsers are in the works. Importing KML and KMZ files is still considered "experimental." We are modifying existing Lit Trips to maximize the experience within Google Earth Web. Unmodified files occasionally result in a red "X" instead of custom place markers, popup windows, and embedded media may be also be affected, resulting in alignment and scrolling issues. These and other minor issues are being addressed in the coming weeks. Check back frequently, as we create an enhanced library of Lit Trips for Google Earth Web . Founded by Mrs Florence Longman in 1945, it has been in the ownership of the same family for three generations. Set in well maintained wooded grounds and conveniently located less than two miles north of Chester city centre, we encourage our children to flourish within a caring, Christian environment which supports children from all faiths and none. Thanks to high academic standards, continuing investment and an emphasis on promoting both the personal and academic development of every child, The Firs is recognised as one of Cheshire’s leading independent schools. The choice between using a packaged or a personalized field trip is similar to the choices made in the planning of a real-life excursion. For instance, if students go to a museum and are required to take a predetermined tour supplied by that museum, with no alterations or changes based on their classroom curriculum, that would be considered a real-life packaged field trip. However, if the teacher talks to the museum personnel and has the tour tailored to meet the specific curricular goals of the class, that is a personalized field trip.
